The rigid 1' tall stems are adorned with stiff

the clumps are topped with 15" scapes of light lavender flowers

Epimedium Lilac Cascade Arum From high elevations in ThailandEpimedium 'Lilac Cascade' is a 2001 Darrell Probst introduction, a cross of Epimedium sempervirens 'Candy Hearts' x Epimedium grandiflorum 'Yubae'. The semi evergreen, heart shaped foliage of Epimedium 'Lilac Cascade' re emerges in spring flushed with lilac, which soon morphs to a reddish leaf edge that disappears with spring warmth. The stalks of cascading mauvy lavender flowers top the clump starting in mid March (NC).
